Delpro single station shaftless or shafted reel stands are modular self-standing units of rigid construction for the simple and yet efficient unwinding and rewinding of a wide range of materials.
The basic stand with tension control can be enhanced with optional built-in facilities such as manual sidelay, web guidance and integral reel lift.

SL Shaftless Reel Stand - Optimum solution for web unwind and rewind applications
Delpro’s SL range of shaftless reel stands provides the optimum solution for web unwind and rewind applications. With options available to suit specific process requirements, operator handling is minimalised as reels are lifted direct from the floor or pallet without any additional lifting equipment. Wide variation of reel widths are accommodated without any additional adaptors.
Robust construction and precision tension control ensures the quality of pay-off and reel-up is maintained over the complete speed and tension range.
Features
Modular stand-alone design and robust construction.
Reels held on pneumatic/mechanical chucks with support arms mounted on common cross bar. Arms are driven in and out on linear guides via a double acting leadscrew to accommodate less than half width reels without the need for adaptors.
Arms pivot via hydraulic cylinders to pick reels direct from the floor or pallet.
Reels are driven by AC motor and regenerative drive with load cell (or optional dancer arm) feedback tension control. Diameter sensors, fitted as standard, provide correct start speed and end of reel detector facility.
Rewind option with pneumatically loaded lay-on roll with ‘lay-off’ gap control and spreader roll assembly for perfectly wound reels.
Two position Turret model available.
